Broken String Biosciences is a Cambridge-based genomics company developing tools to improve the safety of cell and gene therapies.

Its platform uses next-generation sequencing to map DNA double-strand breaks across the genome, enabling developers to detect and quantify on- and off-target edits generated by gene editing technologies including CRISPR.

The platform supports programmes from discovery through to clinical development and is available as a service and as an early-access in-laboratory solution.
