BUGS Bioscience is a not-for-profit biotechnology spin-out of the Bacterial Microarray Group at St George's, University of London.

The company develops and provides molecular serotyping microarray platforms and associated genomic surveillance services for vaccine-preventable bacterial pathogens, including Streptococcus pneumoniae, Group B Strep, Haemophilus influenzae and Neisseria meningitidis.

Its cloud software supports end-to-end workflow management and data aggregation across international surveillance studies.

Clients include pharmaceutical companies and NGOs involved in vaccine development and deployment.
