Cambridge Science Park is Europe's first science park, founded by Trinity College, Cambridge in 1970 and spanning 152 acres on the northern edge of the city. Trinity College retains the freehold and continues to invest actively in the estate.
The park hosts 170 science and technology companies employing over 7,000 people, ranging from early-stage spin-outs to multinational corporations, providing laboratory and office space across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, software and advanced engineering.
