Industrial biotechnology innovation centre and network for Scotland

The Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre is a Scottish innovation centre connecting industry, academia and government to accelerate industrial biotechnology.

It supports over 200 member organisations with access to bioprocess scale-up facilities, collaborative R&D funding, PhD and skills training programmes.

IBioIC is a key driver of Scotland's National Plan for Industrial Biotechnology and has helped attract over £35 million in additional R&D investment across more than 215 projects since its founding in 2014.
