Infex Therapeutics is a clinical-stage drug development company focused on antimicrobial resistance and pandemic-priority infectious diseases, based at Alderley Park.

Founded as The AMR Centre in 2016, the company acquires and co-develops novel therapeutics through in-licensing and risk-sharing partnerships with biotechs, universities and pharmaceutical companies, supporting programmes from lead optimisation to Phase 2 proof of concept.

Its pipeline includes programmes targeting drug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria, respiratory infections and urinary tract infections.
