Founded in 1906 and privately owned, the company markets a portfolio of specialty pharmaceutical products and medical devices across Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Its primary UK manufacturing and R&D site in Hengoed, Wales employs over 600 people and produces approximately 50 million packs of medicines annually.

Norgine supplements its internal pipeline through selective in-licensing partnerships.
