Purolite

Purolite is a manufacturer of ion exchange, agarose and affinity chromatography resins for biopharmaceutical downstream processing.

Its Llantrisant facility in South Wales serves as the primary European production site for its range of agarose-based chromatography resins, used in the purification of monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates and other biologics.

The site has over 250 employees and has tripled capacity following investment by parent company Ecolab, which acquired Purolite in 2021 for $3.7 billion.
