Samsara Therapeutics is a drug discovery company developing first-in-class small molecule therapeutics that restore autophagy, the cellular process of degrading and recycling damaged proteins, which declines with age and is dysfunctional in multiple diseases.

Its platform identifies and chemically optimises autophagy-enhancing compounds validated in human cell and animal models.

The pipeline targets neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, rare genetic disorders, and age-related conditions. No autophagy-inducing drug is currently approved.
