CanSense

CanSense is a Welsh biotechnology company developing a non-invasive blood test for the early detection of bowel and other cancers.

The platform combines Raman laser spectroscopy with artificial intelligence to identify cancer-associated metabolic signatures in blood, delivering results within 48 hours without specialist sample preparation.

Designed for GP-level triage, the test aims to reduce reliance on invasive colonoscopy procedures. CanSense is working toward NHS deployment across Wales and the UK.
