Its lead candidate QEL-001 is in the Phase 1/2 LIBERATE trial for liver transplant tolerance.
A 2023 AstraZeneca collaboration worth up to $2 billion covers CAR-Treg programs in type 1 diabetes and inflammatory bowel disease, with both programs triggering $10 million milestone payments in 2024–25.
