Sapphiros is a privately held diagnostics portfolio company backed by KKR and Neoenta.

UK operations include Biocrucible, a molecular diagnostics company developing ultra-rapid isothermal nucleic acid amplification assays, and an Extreme Volume Manufacturing capability producing lateral flow diagnostic tests at multi-billion unit scale.

The portfolio targets infectious disease diagnostics for point-of-care and consumer settings, with programmes in respiratory viruses, HIV, and malaria. US government funding has been awarded through the NIH RADx and BARDA programmes.
