Replimune

Replimune is the UK research and development site of Replimune Group, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing oncolytic immunotherapies for cancer.

Its platform uses genetically engineered herpes simplex viruses to selectively replicate within and destroy tumour cells, releasing tumour antigens and activating a systemic anti-tumour immune response.

Lead candidate RP1 has received FDA Breakthrough Therapy Designation in combination with an immune checkpoint inhibitor for advanced melanoma, with further candidates in development for colorectal cancer.
